Is disease reversal a fact or a myth.... Gsher's point of view!

"Over the past century, the death rate per person from infectious diseases has dropped sharply, but the death rate per person from non-communicable diseases has stayed about the same." (Kostoff)

Every year, chronic "noncommunicable diseases (NCDs)" claim the lives of 41 million people, or 71% of all fatalities worldwide.

Disease reversal has become a topic in and of itself due to the lack of definitive treatments. New research has shown that certain diseases can be reversed under the right conditions. Many chronic diseases, such as Type 2 diabetes, heart disease, and some cancers, can be reversed or controlled by modifying one's lifestyle and diet.

Diabetes is one of the world's most common health problems. It has been discovered that reducing calorie intake and making lifestyle changes, such as engaging in regular physical activity, can reverse the disease and reduce reliance on medication. Both Harvard and Los Angeles County research studies were able to demonstrate the positive effects and reversals of diabetes diagnoses in participants. Many other chronic diseases and conditions can benefit from a similar approach.

Another disease that can be reversed is heart disease. A combination of lifestyle changes, such as regular physical activity, a well-balanced diet, quitting smoking, and limiting alcohol and stress, can help reverse the disease. Although it may take time, such lifestyle changes can significantly reduce the risk of heart disease.

Some types of cancer can be cured if the underlying cause is addressed. Early detection can aid in identifying and treating cancer before it progresses, allowing the disease to be reversed.

Disease reversal is a scientific fact, not a myth. Changing one's lifestyle, such as by increasing physical activity, quitting smoking, and eating less, can help to reverse and control a number of chronic diseases or conditions.
